John P. Downer, OD
Dr. Downer grew up in the Dayton area, graduating from Chaminade-Julienne High School. He went on to attend Miami University to earn a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Downer received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and completed a post-doctoral residency in ocular disease at Indiana University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and he has participated in Special Olympics Sports Vision screenings.
Dr. Downer founded Comprehensive Eye Care in Beavercreek in 2003. He expanded the practice to Springfield in 2007 and added a location in Centerville in 2015.
Dr. Downer has completed mission trips in Honduras and Belize. He is married to Mary Jo, and they have three children: Claire, Catherine, and Luke.
Dr. Downer is seeing patients in Beavercreek, Springfield, and Centerville.
Bridget I. Fath, OD
Dr. Fath is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in primary vision care, contact lenses, problem-focused eye examinations, pediatric care, urgent eye care, occupation vision, and pre- and post-operative care.
A native of Indiana, Dr. Fath received her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. After graduation from optometry school, Dr. Fath was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force and stationed at multiple locations throughout the US and Europe.
Dr. Fath joined the staff at Comprehensive Eye Care in 2013 and serves all ages. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. She is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, as well as evaluating and and co-managing laser and refractive vision correction. She is skilled in diagnosing and managing many eye diseases including but not limited to macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
Dr. Fath is seeing patients in Beavercreek and Springfield.
Molly J. O’Neill, OD, MS, FAAO
Dr. O’Neill is a Kettering native, graduating from Alter High School. She went on to attend The Ohio State University to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. O’Neill completed a two year Advanced Practice Fellowship in Cornea and Contact Lenses, where she was a clinical instructor, gained experience fitting many types of conventional and specialty contact lenses, and earned a Master of Science degree in Vision Science. She joined the Comprehensive Eye Care team in 2016.
Dr. O’Neill is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Ohio Optometric Association. She has participated in vision screenings for athletes at the Ohio Special Olympics.
Dr. O’Neill is happy to be back serving the community where she grew up. She and her husband, a fellow Alter and OSU graduate, reside in the Dayton area.
Dr. O’Neill is seeing patients in Centerville, Springfield, and Beavercreek.
